Renee is a designer, strategist, and wellness advocate who helps brands make change. I’ve always been reflective— curious about how I move through the world, how I think, and how I can do it in a better way. For a long time, that curiosity took the form of design. I studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, surrounded by deadlines and ambition, caught up in the fast pace of the creative world. Eventually, I burned out. My body said no. And when I finally listened, it carried me home. That’s when I found another path. I studied Polarity Therapy, opened a practice of my own, and spent years holding space for clients in the realm of holistic health. That experience working with people in such an embodied, grounded way, helping them through transformation health-wise and through relational challenges and life transitions, taught me so much. Now I bring these threads together. My work as a designer now centers around entrepreneurs in wellness, as I understand intimately the challenges that go along with doing what you love, often in fields that seem a little “woo” for some people to get, or trying to do things DIY or on a budget. To me, a brand is a reflection of your spirit. It’s a home for your work, a mirror that lets others recognize you more clearly. I’ve also been a longtime meditator and student of emotional intelligence and spiritual practice. Those practices still inform how I move through the world and think about life and work, and they’re woven into the way I create.
